So a couple days ago I decided to preorder Destiny for my Xbox 360 and I got access to the beta, so I tried it and here are my thoughts.
Pros:
Looks gorgeous.
Weapons feel great and there's a good variety of them.
Like the RPG elements and the classes.
It's nice to play single player and it feels like a more refined borderlands.
Cons:
Special ammo (I.E Ammo for your shotguns, sniper rifles, etc.) disappears if you change special weapons, I don't want to have to use my high powered sniper rifle indoors, so I need a shotgun, only to find all my ammo for it is gone. Why can't ammo stay for all special weapons?
Very easy to get rushed and back into a corner, at least in the Xbox 360 version.
The PvP multiplayer, anything lower than broadband and it's a BITCH to play. Ugh...
Random level 8 people coming in, stealing your kills and fleeing. I guess that's the MMO experience for ya.
All in all, Destiny's an OK game. Hopefully the full game will be improved.

Projects update
With recent, untold events transpired, I need to change up a few things.
First, Lost in the Marsh is cancelled, it's just too much to do right now and i have enough stress as is.
The Secret Project and the next I2 is not dead, but is going on hiatus until I get one thing sorted out.
I need to do a story that's been based on recent events. Does it involve action? Yes, though I done two action stories back to back, this one needs to happen as a release. Does it involve Carri? No, it involves Erika, but it's a story that's not only going to help her, but myself as well.

So about that Smash Bros...
I've done some reading and putting lots of hours into Smash 4 for the 3DS... and while everyone seems to like this game a lot... I can't sing the same praises as everyone else does.
Before I get pitchforks and torches coming towards my abode, hear me out. Smash 4 isn't TERRIBLE by any means, it has good gameplay and the music is kick ass as to be expected. The roster is wide and diverse and the arenas are good, for the most part.
However, my issues lie with the controls, oh dear.
It's bad enough that the screen is too small and Smash can lead to a lot of hand cramps, but I swear that the controls are hair pulling out frustrating.

After lots of struggle, I finally found out how to install custom models for UT3. And it was so simple all along.

Now I have a proper custom model for Carri, and some history about Carri's development. :nod:
